A Line in the Sand

The greatest benefit of growing old is to have served my Lord for most of those years. He has allowed me to be a missionary and a pastor. I have seen many people come to salvation. God has used me to help people grow in their Christian lives.
This book is not about the blessings that God has allowed in my life. It is motivated by the sad part of growing old. Many things have changed for the worse. I am not talking about the aches and pains that come with growing older. God has blessed by my not having too many of those.
My heart is greatly burdened by the fact that churches and Christians are not as strong as they once were. When I first became a Baptist, we never heard of discipleship classes. They weren’t needed because we were discipled from the pulpit by our pastors.
In the old days we knew what we believed, and why we believed it. Today most Christians may know what they believe, but they don’t know why. They couldn’t defend their doctrine from the Scriptures.

About The Author

Pierre was saved at the age of 17. After high school, he entered the US Army, and in 10 years rose from the rank of private to captain. At that time the Lord dealt with him about leaving the Army. This is when God called him into the ministry. He has been a missionary, a pastor, and an evangelist. One thing that has been consistent from the very beginning is his love for an accurate interpretation and exposition of the Scriptures.
