The Lost Distinctive

Anyone who has been a Christian for more than a few years can see the decline in our churches. I am not talking about a decline in church attendance, I’m talking about a decline in holiness of life among church members and a decline in doctrinal knowledge. Many modern Christians are just doing their own thing, or as the Bible puts it, “that which is right in their own eyes.”
The reason I am taking the time to write this book is that something must be done if we want to see God’s blessing in our families, our churches, and our nation. We don’t have a political problem or a moral problem. These are only symptoms. We need to understand that the problem is spiritual and that only spiritual revival will solve it.
I write from the position of a Baptist and I am not ashamed to do so. I believe that is was the Baptists who gave this country its freedoms and that it is Baptists who influenced the people of this country to be a moral people.
I don’t want those of you who are not Baptists to allow the fact that I write from this point of view stop you from reading this book. This decline is not unique to Baptists, we see the same thing happening in all denominations.

About The Author

Pierre was saved at the age of 17. After high school, he entered the US Army, and in 10 years rose from the rank of private to captain. At that time the Lord dealt with him about leaving the Army. This is when God called him into the ministry. He has been a missionary, a pastor, and an evangelist. One thing that has been consistent from the very beginning is his love for an accurate interpretation and exposition of the Scriptures.
